Fees for our Services

We accept Medicaid, most private insurances, and self payments in the form of cash, check, MasterCard or Visa. We are happy to work with you to make an affordable payment plan and sliding scale rates are available for low income clients.

Note: The Birth Center is a non-profit organization that relies on community support.  Approximately 85% of the Birth Center’s clients are on pregnancy related Medicaid, which reimburses for midwifery services at a rate that does not cover what it costs to provide the services. Many of our services which we so clearly believe are vital to the well being of our clients, such as home visiting care, are not reimbursed by Medicaid. We strongly encourage clients to make donations to the Birth Center as they are able. For more information about this issue, see our Donations page.
